This pilot study was published in 2017 in journal of J Clin Anal Med. by Turkish orthopedics. The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of hyaluronic acid injection in patients with hallux valgus.

 

Results

According to this preliminary results, we suggest that hyaluronic acid injections may be effective in reducing pain and increasing walking time and distance in patients with hallux valgus. Future studies are needed to clarify the beneficial effects of hyaluronic acid injection in patients with hallux valgus.
